Jerry Moye appointed new member of International Advisory Board

Hendrix Genetics has appointed Jerry Moye as new member of its International Advisory Board (IAB).  The appointment takes effect on 22 June 2017.

Due to his long career with Cobb-Vantress Inc. (part of Tyson Foods) Jerry Moye brings extensive knowledge of the worldwide animal protein value chains and in particular the broiler breeding business.

Jerry Moye has been in the poultry industry for over 30 years.  He has progressed from Director of Technical Services to become General Manager, Vice President, a Senior Vice President, and then President of Cobb-Vantress. Before joining Cobb-Vantress, he spent sixteen years in Integrated Chicken Production as a Live Production Manager for two large U.S. integrators.  His management responsibilities included breeders, hatcheries, broilers, and feed mills.  He has a degree in economics from Washington College in Maryland.

In 2008 Jerry Moye as President of Cobb-Vantress negotiated the acquisition of Hendrix Genetics’ broiler breeding activity Hybro by his company. After the transfer of Hybro, Cobb-Vantress and Hendrix Genetics established a Joint Development Agreement that is still in place today.
